Sydney Bass Catch
Bass Sydney Fishing
Club is hosting its 23rd Hawkesbury-Nepean Bass catch on 2 weekends
over the coming Bass Season. This event is open to any bass angler
wishing to participate in gathering catch data & other important
information for NSW Fisheries.
You just need to register via the Bass Sydney website which is listed
below. www.basssydney.com/basscatch/index.php
Registration means you will be issued a catch card as well as
directions to the Bass Sydney camp site at Wilberforce. The Bass catch
will be held on:
16th & 17th October 2010 and 19th & 20th February 2011.

Fishing & Fun Day at Narrandera
It
is a long drive from the Tablelands to Narrandera but a visit to the
hatchery fun day would make the trip worth while. This is a public
event which is free of charge and seeks to celebrate the social,
environmental and economic values of fish to people in inland
NSW.
There will be a range of activities which aim to involve people young
and old. Specific attractions include live fish feeding, research
demonstrations, celebrity chef, carnival rides, camp oven cooking and
fishing competitions.
